Tupperware Quick Chef Review

Tupperware Quick Chef Review

This quick-and-easy alternative to electric food processors allows you to prepare ingredients for your favorite recipes with ease. With just a single turn of the handle, the blade or paddle whisk rotates four times, minimizing time and effort. The stainless steel blade chops fruits and vegetables effortlessly, while the paddle whisk quickly whips or mixes cream, salad dressings and dips. Add the funnel attachment to incorporate oil into mayonnaise, pesto sauce or salad dressing. And for the ultimate in control and versatility, the clear container with colorful lid cover features a non-skid base as well as u.s. and metric measurements.

The Quick Chef is approximately 6” in diameter and constructed of very sturdy feeling plastic. The lid screws onto the clear plastic base. The base is the chamber that will hold that which is to be chopped. On the bottom, there is a ring of nubbed rubber, which holds the Chef firmly on the counter. The food chamber has measuring marks on two sides. One side is for cups up to 4 cups and the other for millimeters up to 1000 millimeters. The lid has an attachment for the handle that makes the magic happen.

Tupperware Quick Chef comes with a blade attachment and a mixing attachment.

With each turn of the handle, the blade makes four trips around the chamber. It is amazing how quickly your vegetables or whatever you desire are chopped. This product really does work, and is great at chopping garlic, fresh herbs, turning potatoes into hashbrowns and even making babyfood.

There is a funnel you can place on the top for emulsifying oils into mayonnaise, salad dressings, and the like.

The Tupperware Quick Chef is very efficient and saves time. I like the Quick Chef because it takes up minimal cabinet space since all the attachments fit inside the container.  It is nice that the blade can be stored in the unit and is a great safety measure.  It does not require an electrical outlet, so it is not only great for my kitchen, but also for when we are camping. It does a great job of processing ingredients for my recipes. I recommend this nice lo-tech, amazing product!

Clean with just a sponge and soapy warm water, rinse well, and set to dry.  Can be put put in the dishwasher without a problem.  It gets used so often, however, it is a good thing, it is so easy to just rinse and dry.  I like to handwash the blades.  Note: Carefully clean the blades as they are very sharp.
